Nirali V. Shah is Head of U.S. D&O for McGill and Partners and is based in New York City. Nirali has over 20 years of industry experience and has spent about equal time on the underwriting and broking side of the business.

Nirali has significant experience in handling complex risks. While her focus has primarily been in Directors & Officers liability, Nirali is also well-versed in Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Crime, Kidnap Ransom, Errors & Omissions and Cyber insurance lines as well. Prior to McGill and Partners, Nirali held a variety of leadership roles with Willis Towers Watson, Marsh & McLennan, and Chubb. Her combination of underwriting and broking experience gives her a unique perspective on the risks clients face.

Nirali is also a national board member of the Asian American Insurance Network (AAIN). Through this appointment, Nirali helps drive change in the insurance industry aligning with her passion around diversity, equity and inclusion issues.
Nirali has a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University.
