Kristin Roger is the head of the Financial Institutions business unit at Travelers, located in Hartford, CT. She is responsible for overseeing the FI Management Liability and Property & Casualty businesses globally, comprised of 23 U.S. based field offices as well as locations in the UK, Ireland and Canada. She joined Travelers in 2001, where she was originally brought on to develop a Management Liability suite of products for Financial Institutions. While at Travelers, she served in a number of product management and underwriting officer roles within the Bond & Specialty underwriting group. Prior to moving into her existing role in 2018, she most recently served as the Financial Institutions Chief Underwriting Officer. Before joining Travelers, she served in various underwriting and leadership positions at Executive Risk in Simsbury, CT and The Hartford Financial Services Group. Kristin is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and holds the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation.  She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College with a Major in English. She is on the Board of Directors of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, where she serves on the Marketing Committee and is the Vice Chair of the Finance Committee. She is also involved with the United Way’s Women United organization and serves on the Steering Committee for the Power of the Purse signature annual event. She is an active participant in the Travelers Diversity Networks as a member of the Women’s, Military Veterans, Black and African American, and LBGTQ+ and Allies DN’s.​
