Jon specializes in designing and implementing management liability programs for companies ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 500. He has 16 years of experience as a management liability insurance broker closely working with executive, legal and risk teams to achieve their risk mitigation and risk financing goals. ​

Jon’s experience spans a diverse range of industries, geographies and transactions. He has worked with technology, life sciences, natural resources and alternative energy, retail and professional service firms. He has advised numerous multinational clients, including foreign domiciled US-listed companies, on their cross-border management liability exposures. Jon’s has also guided companies through high-risk transactions including going public transactions (IPO, de-SPAC), M&A transactions and bankruptcy and corporate restructuring transactions.​

Prior to joining Woodruff Sawyer, Jon was a Senior Vice President at Willis Towers Watson where he led the management liability broking team for the western region and served as the natural resources industry vertical leader. His background also includes broking positions with Aon, USI and Carpenter Moore. Prior to becoming a management liability insurance broker, Jon practiced real estate and securities law in the Bay Area.​

Jon has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Trinity University and a juris doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law.​
