Rob’s expertise includes insurance product design, complex claim resolution, restructuring, bankruptcy and transactional management and professional liability, pension/fiduciary risk and cybersecurity risk. Rob delivers unique and innovative insights, unparalleled product expertise, creative solutions and results that drive optimal results for our clients.
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, Rob worked for AIG where, during his 14-year tenure, he developed and drove execution of strategies for management and professional liability products, brands and underwriting. In that role, Rob collaborated with AIG product leaders globally to develop D&O, E&O, EPL and FI insurance products globally under brands like DragonShieldTM, CorporateGuardSM, BusinessGuardSM, ProspectusEdgeSM and ExecutiveEdgeSM. Before AIG, Rob worked for over 10 years with D’Amato & Lynch focusing on complex management and professional liability claims and coverage issues.
Role at Willis Towers Watson
Rob currently serves as our product leader for directors and officers liability and fiduciary liability. In addition, Rob serves as a technical expert and claims resource on management and professional liability issues, and leads our North American and Global FINEX Advisory Committee.
Since joining Willis Towers Watson, clients, their counsel and insurers have benefited from Rob’s policy design, deep carrier insights and innovative approach to client solutions. Rob provides critical troubleshooting, innovative counsel and responsive, and bespoke solutions that help clients move forward and avoid potential coverage pitfalls.
Education and Credentials
Rob earned a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law and Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University. He is admitted to legal practice in New York, the District of Columbia and Colorado. Rob currently serves on the Professional Underwriting Society’s Advisory Board for its annual Directors and Officers Liability Symposium.
