Emy R. Donavan

Emy Donavan most recently served as the Chief Underwriting Officer at Boost Insurance. On the back of nearly 20 years of P&C leadership experience, she joined Boost from a role as a
Venture Partner at Fin Capital, and remains a proud member of the Fin Family. Based in San Francisco, her experience has deep roots in Silicon Valley – building insurance programs with
and underwriting programs for startups, VC portfolios, and large technology risks on a local and global basis for some of the largest domestic and global P&C carriers.

Emy graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Rhetoric, focusing on legal writing and argument construction. Emy is also a frequent speaker for PLUS, Advisen, the APCIA, and other affiliation
groups on Cyber & Professional Liability insurance topics, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and other major publications covering the insurance and cyber security markets.
