Younie Choi is a Director in the Strategic Claim Unit in Healthcare Claims at CNA where she specializes in the management of high exposure medical malpractice claims.  She began her career nearly 20 years ago as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York Metro area, before applying her trial and investigative experience to the defense of healthcare providers.  She also did a brief stint as a plaintiff’s attorney but has long since returned to the light.  Younie currently leads the Gender Affirming Care Claim Team at CNA, where she is shaping litigation strategy and coordinating a national approach to the defense of these claims.  She is also an American Legal Connections Advisory Board Member, a frequent mentor and active member of the AAPI community.
