Joe Scarlata joined Berkley Healthcare in September 2020 and now serves as Vice President, Managed Care. Joe is responsible for leading Berkley Healthcare’s primary Managed Care QUARTO product, set to launch in Spring 2024.

Joe has spent his entire underwriting career in the healthcare industry, specializing in Managed Care Errors & Omissions Liability, Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, and Crime coverage lines. Joe started his insurance career in 2009 as a Professional and Financial Lines Broker for national wholesale brokerage firm and has been underwriting healthcare risks exclusively since 2013.

Joe is an alumnus of Columbia University where he earned his B.A. in Political Science. He is also a licensed Casualty, Property, and Surplus Lines Broker.
