Sharon is a director and actuary within our Actuarial & Analytics practice (AAP). In this role, she is responsible for providing professional actuarial analyses and studies to both Aon clients and independent entities, including loss reserve valuations, pricing strategies, financial forecasting, and total cost of risk evaluations. She also provides actuarial consulting services on assignments involving the development and evaluation of pricing and reserve funding strategies for various self-insurance programs and alternative risk vehicles.

Sharon chairs AAP’s Actuarial Thought Leaders for Healthcare.

Experience

Most of Sharon’s career has been with Aon Global Risk Consulting (17 years) providing various actuarial consulting services. She recently worked as a pricing actuary for a large healthcare liability carrier specializing in the pricing of various excess and primary professional liability products for all types of health systems across the United States. Her introduction to the insurance industry and actuarial work was at the National Council on Compensation Insurance focusing on pricing industrywide workers compensation loss costs for carriers.
