Wendy Gerwick Couture is the James E. Wilson Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Idaho College of Law, where she teaches Business Associations, Property Security, Securities Regulation, and White Collar Crime. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas; as an Associate Attorney at Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, LLC in Dallas, Texas; and as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Barbara M. G. Lynn, United States District Court, Northern District of Texas. Wendy earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Duke University. Wendy’s scholarship focuses on securities regulation, securities litigation, and white collar crime.
