Noona practised law in Toronto for a number of years before moving into the insurance sector. Prior to joining McGill and Partners in February 2020, Noona was Head of International Financial Lines Claims/Head of UK Claims at AIG in London. 

In these roles, Noona was responsible for the UK claims organisation and also for all financial lines claims outside North America, overseeing a large, international team dealing with D&O, cyber, PI, crime and M&A claims and working directly with clients to resolve complex claims.  

At McGill and Partners, Noona is responsible for providing wording reviews, thought leadership, pre-claims guidance and for leading the negotiation and settlement of all claims.  Noona’s legal background and extensive experience in dealing with complex claims positions her well for discussions with clients’ legal teams, boards, insurers and their legal representatives.  

Noona is a frequent speaker at market events on topics such as D&O, cyber and general claims best practices.
