Kim is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the D&O product across all business units by identifying trends and mitigating risk, driving policy innovation, and developing underwriting strategies.  Kim joined AIG in 2013, initially overseeing coverage litigation and providing coverage advice to various claims groups before moving to the D&O complex claims department where she worked with both public and private company directors and officers to defend against complex civil and criminal litigation.  Kim subsequently crossed over to underwriting working with, and then managing the New York Public Management Liability team.  Before joining AIG, Kim practiced at a New York law firm specializing in professional liability litigation.  She holds a B.S. in Psychology and History & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
