Macy Steers currently serves as Vice President, Underwriting at CNA Financial, leading the company’s Financial Institutions, Captive Agents, Broker/Dealers, and Transactional Risk Professional Liability Insurance practices. Macy previously held the role as Senior Director, Head of Executive Assurance Financial Institutions at Markel Group where he worked for over twelve years. Macy has over 17 years of industry experience, predominantly in the executive liability underwriting field, focusing specifically on the financial institutions sector throughout the majority of his career. He has held a variety of positions in both underwriting and management while continually providing creative solutions for clients and building longstanding relationships that are so important at CNA. Macy received a B.A. in Economics and History from St. Lawrence University and resides in New York with his wife and three children.
