Kieran Hughes is Senior Vice President and Senior Claims Counsel in the McGriff Atlanta-based Executive Risk Advisors group. Kieran leverages his legal training, executive lines coverages and claims experience, and strong industry relationships to assist McGriff clients with securing timely and optimal recoveries from their insurance contracts. He has over 30 years of experience, including but not limited to managing Directors & Officers Liability claims for national and multinational accounts, private, and nonprofit sectors. His responsibilities included shareholder class actions, stakeholder actions, and collective actions, including securities cases in foreign jurisdictions, derivative cases, mergers and acquisitions, and Employment Practices Liability claims.

Kieran also served as a Court Appointed Mediator in the Superior Courts of New Jersey, was a designated Arbitrator in single and three person panel arbitrations and served as a private mediator while in private practice. Kieran is a graduate of Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey where he triple majored in Political Science, Journalism and English Literature. He graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law. After law school, Kieran clerked in the Superior Court of New Jersey for the Honorable Edward F. Neagle, Jr.
