David Shluger

David Shluger leads the Cyber Risk Advisory practice within AXIS Capital Global Cyber & Technology team. David and his team provide cyber risk services to customers, deliver leading insights to AXIS Underwriters, provide training to brokers and other parties, and produce thought leadership on the topic of cyber risk. He joined AXIS in late 2023.

Prior to AXIS, David led Cyber Risk Engineering services within Zurich North America. He was responsible for the group’s technical advisory internally to Cyber Underwriters, as well as consultative risk improvement strategy externally for customers. David’s previous roles have included Senior Deal Architect, Chief of Staff to the CEO, Global Property Underwriter, and Strategic Risk Consultant.

David holds a Masters in Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises from Syracuse University, New York. He also holds his Security+ Designation from CompTIA, Certificate in International Risk Management and Associate in Risk Management designations.
